For 65 years, Amherst Animal Hospital has been serving the Amherst Community by providing for your family pets. Taking great pride in personalized and compassionate care, they have earned the community’s loyalty and trust, one customer at a time. The family-owned, full service animal hospital provides a welcoming and friendly environment for all of your pets’ needs. They utilize the most advanced technology and most current techniques, while maintaining a hands-on approach.

Amherst Animal Hospital provides medical, surgical & preventative care for dogs, cats, avians, exotics & reptiles. They offer physical wellness exams, vaccinations, in-house lab testing for complete blood profiles and heartworm and intestinal parasite testing, Class 4 Laser therapy, dental cleanings, and a full range of surgeries from basic spay and neuters to more extensive procedures involving ophthalmic and orthopedic surgeries, to name a few. Amherst Animal Hospital also offers full boarding facilities, doggy daycare and full grooming services so your pet has everything it needs at one location.

There are two doctors/owners at the hospital, Dr. Mark Gigliotti and Dr. Kristin Yacobozzi. Dr. Mark’s dad and uncle founded the hospital and he has been there for 37 years. Dr. Kristin has been working there for over 12 years and is now a partner, ensuring another generation of devotion to the Amherst community.

Dr. Gigliotti, Dr. Yacobozzi and the Amherst Animal Hospital staff look forward to continued service to the area communities with the highest level of veterinary care available, and would be honored to bring a new, innovative, and caring veterinary experience to you and your family.
